I’ve been so excited to share this wedding on the blog because there’s an abundance of gorgeous portraits from Jessica and Eric’s wedding at Blackstone Country Club! The two of them are absolutely wonderful people, and their wedding day was the perfect blend of joy, sophistication, culture, and fun!
One of the aspects that made their wedding day so exquisite was the amount of effort Jessica and Eric put into the details that displayed how excited they were to celebrate their marriage. Everything from their invitations to their vow books was elegant and beautifully designed. Their ceremony space and reception courtyard at Blackstone Country Club looked like a scene from a romantic film, filled with an abundance of stunning white florals and greenery. Above their head table was a banner with a quote from the author Atticus Poetry that read, “I will follow you, my love, to the edge of all our days, to our very last tomorrows.” And every time I saw the way Jessica and Eric looked at one another, I could see how deeply connected they were and how beautifully that quote represented their relationship.
Both of them also went above and beyond to make the other one feel special, and that included celebrating Jessica’s Polish heritage. Not only was there a Polish mariachi band at their cocktail hour and Polish hors d’oeuvres, but Eric had also surprised Jessica with with ending his vows in Polish. So many family members danced to traditional songs and sang along with the band. It felt like a wonderful way to combine old traditions with new ones and celebrate Eric becoming a part of Jessica’s culture.
Their wedding reception was incredible — beginning with an amazing grand entrance that lead into a stunning first dance with fireworks shooting off behind them. Jessica and Eric danced the night away with their closest friends, and soaked in the joy of being husband and wife. One of the best parts of the evening was when Eric surprised Jessica with a coordinated dance with his groomsmen, and blew the whole place away! The night ended with their guests lining up with sparklers outside and cheered as they saw Jessica and Eric off. The evening was filled with so many laughs, and special moments that made this celebration so memorable. It was the perfect evening for an absolutely perfect couple!
