Friends, I absolutely loved this Destination Tucson Country Club wedding for Hallie & Phil in Tucson, Arizona.  Arizona did not disappoint with its infamous triple-digit temperatures but you would never know due to the sweet nature of everyone involved in the wedding.  This wedding was absolutely heartfelt and beautiful but it was more than that. It’s always more than that with my couples, because while the outward beauty of the people and pretty things is obvious, for me, it’s the inside that counts more.  And these two (and their families) have it. Period.

I knew right away when I met Hallie that her kind, sweet and easy going demeanor was a truly reflection of her beautiful heart! Her at the time fiancé fit right in with that description as well.  Almost immediately I felt so welcome in Hallies life and that openness, that welcomeness, that makes you feel like family — right from the start proceeded throughout the course of the wedding planning process. And that’s how their wedding day was, too. Hallie was calm, cool, collected, ignoring the things that didn’t matter, focused on all things that did. They were both emotional during their gift exchange, they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony but they wrote beautiful letters to each other. His tears told a story that even his words couldn’t: a deep, sincere, ever lasting love for his Hallie, and now wife. From beginning to end, their wedding was picture perfect. Not only emotional and raw but flat out beautiful.

Hallie & Phil, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for entrusting me with the most important day of your life. I felt inspired by your weddings vows and the words your pastor spoke. Thank you, also, for just being you. For your kindness. For your caring. For your amazing ability to make everyone around you feel special, important and loved. I certainly did.
