Oh my goodness, I’m SO excited to share Katherine and Josh’s beautiful engagement session on the blog today! There are so many reasons why these portraits are so special. These two met back when they were working together at Disney World, (Which is just about the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard!) and their romance grew into a connection that is so sweet and sincere. It was really special seeing the way Josh would make Katherine laugh and how much fun the two of them have together. Not only was it special to see how genuine their connection was, but it was also a joy being able to photograph them at the home of Katherine’s grandparents. The abundance of greenery, gorgeous trees and spring florals made for a stunning engagement session that’s truly unlike any other.

Katherine and Josh will be getting married this April at Tanque Verde Ranch, and it’s amazing to know all the unique details that will make it so wonderful to capture. Katherine has a love for literature, so they’ve planned on having the reception centerpieces incorporate various quotes from her favorite novels. Rackel Gehlsen will be planning the day along with Alexis Grace creating beautiful floral arrangements and Heather Van Houten supplying hair & makeup for Katherine & her bridesmaids. With these gorgeous details combined with how stunning Katherine and Josh were to photograph — I know it’s going to be a wedding day to remember!
